Metacomet Select Lacrosse (MSL) is a Newport Rhode Island based non profit corporation. MSL was created to advance serious Southern New England (RI, MA, CT) players to the next level of competitive lacrosse, and to give our best area players opportunity to join together to improve their skills through strong coaching, and challenging competitive play. Players will be exposed to the most competitive tournaments in the North East and Mid Atlantic areas.

Comets Capture the Premier Division Championship at the Champion's Cup
The 2009 Comets went to Downington and conquered the more established field in the Premier Division of the top Champion Division, finishing first out of the 16 2009 teams in their division. This field included elite teams from all the lacrosse hot beads including Maryland, Long Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and others.

Metacomets Name 2008 Selections
After three Metacomet tryouts and an ardudous selection process, the coaches have selected the 2008 summer teams. Year after year, our evaluators are astounded by the increasingly competitive caliber of play, and this year was no exception. We would like to thank all of our participants in this year's tryouts for their time and effort. The rosters below reflect the skill, field sense, and athleticism necessary to compete on the national level.

Spring Tryout Dates Announced
