There are two critical elements we can endeavor to control for the betterment of the Players, the Game and Metacomets as an organization: The culture of our organization, its players and  parents, and the expectations of players, coaches and parents. Understand that selection to participate on a Metacomet roster is a privilege, not a right. Culturally, the Metacomets have chosen to “Honor the Game" of lacrosse. As a player selected to a Metacomet roster, you become part of this culture and there are expectations that must be met by players, parents and coaches, as well as a Code of Conduct that must be adhered to. Finally, Metacomets subscribe to a very important message to Players and Parents... just play.
